On the twin-turbo M177, the map works on boost pressure targets together with fuelling, injection and ignition timing, so the extra boost is matched by the right fuel and timing at every point in the rev range.
We also adjust the torque limiters and throttle response, then log the car across multiple pulls to refine the map before it leaves.
The M156 has no turbochargers, so there’s no boost to raise. The map works on fuelling, ignition timing, throttle response and torque limiters instead.
For a bigger step, we fit the Weistec M156 supercharger and finish the conversion on our dyno with a custom map.

Yes. The W204 C63 with the 6.2-litre M156 and the W205 C63 and C63 S with the 4.0-litre M177 each have their own map, written for that engine.
What does Stage 2 need on a C63?
Stage 2 is software written around hardware upgrades, typically downpipes, intake or exhaust. We confirm the right parts for your car before anything is fitted.
Can my C63 go back to standard later?
Yes. Your original factory file is stored, so the car can be returned to stock at any time.
